CULTURAL PROBE
Cultural probes (or design probes) is a technique used to inspire ideas in a design process. It serves as a means of gathering inspirational data about people's lives, values and thoughts. (Wikipedia)

CHALLENGE
For my Research Class in my Masters Program for Strategic Design. I had to design and test a Cultural Probe on the hypothesis : “Budget friendly accommodation leads to bad experiences.”

EXECUTION
I designed a cultural probe called the Grand Hotel of Personal Experiences for six participants, five of who were students and one of them an expert participant (working in a hostel part- time along with studying). The outcome was an illustrative finding on the experiences of the students regarding their experiences.
